The Knicker bocker's game came close to the modern baseball game, the ball which has been missed by the batsman and caught on the first bounce will be again and for out only underhand pitching was must the first officially placed baseball was in 1845 between the teams of NewYork Knicker bockers.

According to history we came to know that on June 19th 1846 the Kincker bockers get defeated by the NewYork nine at the place of hoboker, New Jersey. The score in that match was 23-1 in four innings.

History Of Baseball in The United States

In the mid 1850's the are of Newyork metropolian got hit by a Baseball craze, and than after sometime in 1856 the NewYork Journals were referring to Baseball as the "National Game" or "Nataional Passtime." and than after a year the first organization of baseball "The National Association of Baseball" players are formed in 1863 by the sixteen area clubs. they disallowed putouts made by catching a fairball on the first bounce.

The first professional Baseball club was founded in 1869 by the name of Cincinnati Red Stockings. The first professional League " The national Association" of Professional Baseball players lasted from 1871 to 1875, scholars, journalists, professionals and experts named it as a major League.

In 1876 National League was found, it was more formal and well structured and the earlier organisation major League the National League is sometimes refereed to as the "Senior circuit." In 1884 many other leagues formed and failed. Moses Walker and his brother Wleday were the players from the African American, they also played in one of these failed leagues. The American Association by getting injure of walker in a major league put an end to his career and right after that in 1890's a gentlemen's agreement in the form of the baseball colour line effectively barred black Players from the whited owned professional leagues Major and Minor.

An organisation was formed for the black people by the name of professional Negro leagues, but that organisation was closed in very short period of time many other independent African American teams succeed as barnstormes. All the over-handed pitching was legalized in 1884 for the winter season, indoor and outdoor baseball with a soft ball was formed in 1887 and than in 1893 all the modern rules were made for baseball which are active till now. according to history the last major change counting four balls as strikes was instituted in 1901. After the establishment of western league were the rivals, they fought of the best players in both leagues each with eight teams. these leagues has a history of disregarding each others contracts and after that engaging in bitter legal disputes.

As professional baseball became increasingly profitable players often raised griveances against owners over the matter of income distribution and control of players and game. In the major league's early decades players on several teams mostly attempted striches which routinely failed because of their jobs which were sufficiently threatend in common words the most strict rules of baseball were their contracts and the reserve clause, because of which players were bounded and limited to their own teams, even when their contracts had ended tended to keep an eye or check on the players. motivated by dislikes for particularly stingy owner Charles Comiskey and Gamblers Payoffs. the real players and the players who made promises to the Chicago White Sox come to conspired to throw the 1919 world series.

The new National commission was build after the Black Sox scandal and because of this commission two major leagues came together. In 1920 Kenesaw mountain was elected as the first major league commissioner. the negro national legaue was also the invention of that year.

Baseball Round The World

Baseball has made his name round the world as "America's passtime" that is why it is also well known and well established in many other countries. According to history the Canadian baseball is closely linked with that of the sport of America. in 1877 professional league which was named or known as the international Association and they selected features teams from both countries as baseball is mostly played in Canada and many major league teams havebeen based in the country.

In 1969not a single American major league was allowed or has permission to get include in Canadain club. Than in 1977 when the montreal expos get into the national league as an expansion league and after that in 1992 and 1993 the blue jays from Canada won the world series. it is the first and the only club who won the world series out side the america till now. after the 2004 season, the major league baseball relocated the expos to Washington DC, that team is now known as National. In 1847 few days just after the battle of Cerro Gordo American Soldier played the baseball game which was the exact copy of the Mexican game of parque los berros in xalapa veracruz they used "wooden leg captured (by the fourth Illinois regiment)from General Santa anna." In cuba in 1878 the first formal baseball league came into been outside the Canada and United states. Tey maintain a very huge baseball tradition and their National teams has been one of the worlds strongest team since 1930's when the International play begans.

In 1912 the first island wide championship tournament was held into the Dominican Republic. the professional leagues and baseball tournaments started growing in several other countries just at the time of world wars. It is started in Mexico (1937) Australia (1934) Puerto Pico (1938) Netherlands (1922) and Japan (1936). The Pacific league Japanese major league and the central league have long been considered the top standard professional circuits outside the United States. Japan has a professional minor league system but it is quite smaller than the American version that each team has only farm club in contrast to MLB team four or five.

In 1946 the Venezula was the most prominent place where baseball leagues were founded after the second world war. in Dominican republic in 1955.

since 1970 the final caribbean series has matched the championships clubs from the four leading latin American winter league the Dominican winter league, Venezula professional baseball league, Puertorican professional baseball league and Mexican Pacific league and on the other side in Asia South Korea (1982) Taiwan (1990) and chaina (2003) all have professional leagues the Italian league founded in 1948, except the Dutch league most of the European countries has the most successful professional leagues if we compare the latin american league and asian leagues.

we cameto know that only few European leagues and the leagues of Australia have nothing more than niche appeal in the books of history. In 2004 Olympic game Australia shows an unexpected performance and won silver medal. The Israel baseball league launched officially in 2007, but after one season it has been folded. In 1953 the confederation European de baseball (European baseball confederation) started officially and started numbers of competitions between multiple countries in their clubs and in National teams they organies different competitions in between national teams competitions like baseball world cupand the olympic baseball tournament, all these competitions and tournaments were administrated by the international baseball association federation (IBAF) since its formation in 1938.

In 2009 117 countries were registered as member with the (IBAF). Since 2004 in many countries the leading sport of women's is also baseball, women's also played on an organised amateur basis. The women baseball worldcup was sanctioned by the IBAF. in 2005 in international Olympic committee meeting the baseball was excluded from the 2012 summer Olympic games, because it was a medal sport beginning with the 1992 games, but it remained the part of 2008. The loco enabled after the exclusion of baseball from 2012 Olympic games the 10c was enable to consider adding two different spirits, but at voting both of the sports have zero votes, while the sport's lack of a following in much of the world was a factor. In all these the major league baseball's reluctance was vey important to the break in their games so that they can be allowed to play the national hockey league participate, now does during the winter Olympic games. These sort of break were difficult for MLB to accommodate because it would force to play in the cold weather.

The IBAF planned to reinstate for the 2016 summer Olympics, just to propose an competition that was abbreviated designed for the participation of top players, but the failed in their effort the major league baseball was initiated the world baseball classic organised to prepare the coming major league party as a replacement high profile international tournament the tournament inaugural classic held in March 2006 was the first tournaament in which national teams participate as the number of MLB participants.

Rules & Gameplay

Baseball requires two teams and nine players on each side to play each team has to play offence and defence. In baseball offensive means batting or hitting and defence represents fielding or pitching both teams has double turns one at batting and one at fielding, that each team constitutes an innings the baseball game is consist of nine innings. One team customarily the visiting team batting in the start or the first half of every innings. the opponent or the other hand team colostomy the home team they bat at the end or the second half of each innings.

The main theme of the game is to score more point or runs than the opponent team to win the game. the team on the batting side has to give points or score by running through four bases set of at the corner of square shaped called baseball diamond. The batsman has to play on a corner called home plate and for making points or runs he has to run towards the bases in clock wise direction to first, second and third base and after that back to home plate, here the opponent team which is on opposite side has to stop the batsman from scoring runs and make him out by doing this the opposite players has been removed from the offensive action until their turn in their team's batting order comes up again. the teams have to switch their roles for the remaining half innings if three outs are recorded in a innings there is also an extra innings which can be played only if the score of the game is tied after nine innings. The extra innings has to be played to resolve the winning team.

Baseball in played on a ground whose primary boundaries the four line extend forward from home plate at 45 degree angles. The area of 90 degree within the four lines is referred to as fair territory the 220 degree area outside them is foul territory. That part of the ground which is enclosed by the bases and several yards beyond them is known as the infield and the area which is further beyond the infield known as the outfield. In the middle of the infield is a raised pitcher's mound with a rectangular rubber plate (the rubber) at its centre. The outer boundary of the out field is typically demarcated by a raised fence, which may be of any material and height.

Neutral grounds between the home surface and the outer surface is the main area of playing baseball the "foul Territory" also consists of quite a few important events.

The three basic & important things in baseball are

  1. The Bat
  2. The Ball
  3. the Gloves

Professionally a "bat" is made of a solid piece of wood without any sort of joints, It is used for hitting "The Ball". The size (length) of the bat ranges from 34 inches to 42 inches max. The bottom end is around 2.5 inches in diameter which is used for hitting the ball, while the size & diameter gradually decreases as you go to the top handle which is usually the size of a knob.

The ball is made of rubber & covered with red cowhide with a cork centre and with red stitching on white cowhide. Normally a ball is 9 inches in circumference.

The glove a.k.a the mitt is made of leather there is a webbing between the fingers as to aid its purpose which is fielding, catching and holding onto the ball in different situations.

Helmets for protection are also used for batting.

Each half innings begin with nine players of the fielding team around the field, the pitcher pitches delivery of ball from pitcher mound with one foot for the rubber, pushing off to gain force for the throw to home plate. The remaining players of the team faces home plate, in fielding normally they arranged four infields who set up along or within a few yards outside the imaginary line between first 3 bases and 3 outfields.
